Denton Square Calendar (dentonsquarecalendar.com) is a free community calendar operated by Green Post Goods, LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Your Privacy

You can browse the calendar without providing any personal information. We don't use cookies, display ads, or sell your personal information.

We collect anonymous information about how visitors use the calendar to help us improve the site. If you contact us or submit an event, we use the information you provide to respond to your request.

Information You Send Us

When you submit an event, contact us, or request a change to an event listing, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, message, and event details.

We use this information to review submissions, respond to messages, confirm listing changes, and notify you when an event is published if you've requested that notification.

Only the people who manage Denton Square Calendar have access to these submissions. Your name and email address are not published. Event details may be published on the calendar.

Submissions are stored using Amazon Web Services, and copies are sent to our email account hosted by Google. We keep submitted information unless you ask us to delete it.

Website Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how visitors use the calendar. This includes pages viewed, events opened, searches, filters, general location (city), device and browser type, and how visitors arrived at the site.

We don't collect names, email addresses, or information entered into forms through analytics. IP addresses are used to determine general location and then discarded.

The calendar uses a randomly generated visitor ID stored in your browser to recognize returning visits. This ID does not identify you personally. If your browser has Global Privacy Control enabled, we don't collect analytics about your visit.

Browser Storage

The calendar saves certain information in your browser, including your display preferences, a random visitor ID, and temporary copies of calendar content to help the site load when your connection is slow.

You can remove this information by clearing the site's stored data in your browser.

Third-Party Services

We use a few outside services to operate the calendar:

Cloudflare Turnstile helps prevent spam in our forms. Cloudflare receives your IP address and basic browser information to perform this check.

Google Fonts provides fonts for some optional display settings. Google may receive your IP address when those fonts load.

Amazon Web Services and Google help us store submissions and manage email.

We also use a one-way code derived from your IP address to limit repeated form submissions. We don't store the original IP address for this purpose.

Our calendar includes links to event venues, organizers, and other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for their practices.

Data Retention and Your Choices

We keep information you submit unless you request its deletion. Technical error logs are kept for up to 90 days.

You can ask to see, correct, or delete information you've submitted by emailing hello@dentonsquarecalendar.com.

Children's Privacy

Denton Square Calendar is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as needed. When we make changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
